In-Game Updates (LIVE from the ballpark): 1-2-3 inning for Stephens in his Double-A debut, he was sitting between 87-89 with his fastball, mainly pitching at 88.
1-0 Thunder after 2, Ramiro Pena with an RBI groundout. Stephens with back-to-back 1-2-3 frames.
1-1, B3. Stephens got touched up a bit in the 3rd, all with two outs. He retired the first eight batters he faced.
Still 1-1, B5.
Bronson Sardinha just hit a hanging breaking ball from Stephens well over the right field wall to give Akron a 2-1 lead in the 6th. Stephens has nine K’s so far, though…
Stephens walked the next batter and then got pulled in favor of Anthony Claggett.
Stephens line: 5.1 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 9 K, 1 HR
The Thunder have their 3-4-5 hitters up in the bottom of the 7th, down one. Could get interesting.
Randy Newsom in to try to close it out for the Aeros.

Final Score: 3-2, Thunder
Post-Game Notes: Went from a rather mundane game to a real interesting one in the bottom of the 7th. A two-run walk-off single by P.J. Pilittere gave the Thunder a somewhat stunning walk-off win
Thunder Thoughts: Looks like Trenton will face Jason Berken, Brad Bergesen and David Hernandez during the Bowie series.
