Noah Hall, one of the more popular players on the 2007 Trenton Thunder, has re-signed with the Somerset Patriots of the independent Atlantic League.
You may remember that the Yankees signed Hall out of Somerset after just one day in the Atlantic League season two years ago.
Hall emerged as an unlikely offensive contributor on that Thunder team, hitting .292 with nine home runs and 50 RBI in 82 games. Last season, the likeable 31-year-old spent time in the White Sox and Mariners organizations.

I was hoping you were talking about Mel Hall.

The same Mel Hall who was charged with sexually assaulting two girls in 1998 and 1999 when he was coaching them on a select basketball team?
Uh, yeah…I’d rather him be nowhere near me.

Good for Noah…He and his wife are very nice people.
Hope to get out there and see him this Spring.
