Take this into account…
1) Rumors started spreading around the press box late in Game 2 that Jesus Montero was getting called up to Double-A.
2) The second game of the doubleheader ended at around 11:15. The door to manager Tony Franklin’s office didn’t open until around 11:50, meaning there was some business to attend to.
3) Franklin himself said there would be a move, but that he couldn’t elaborate any further until tomorrow.
Now, this could be a big fuss over nothing…maybe Noel Castillo’s on the way back up or something. Yay! But it could also mean that the Yankees best catching prospect may be on his way as well. The second I find something out, you’ll see it posted here.
