Nothing official yet on Jose Molina, but I heard from one of the players that Molina is expected to come to Trenton tomorrow and catch 7 innings…we’ll see what Tony Franklin has to say after the game about that.

Stupid play by Vazquez in the 5th…on a somewhat softly hit ball hit to him with only one out and the bases loaded, he attempted to throw the ball to second for one out. Why you wouldn’t throw home if you were only get one out is beyond me…but of course, he threw it way wide of Eduardo Nunez and it went into left field. 4-1, Rock Cats.

The Jorge Vazquez Experience attones for his horrific defense, hitting a two-run double down the left line…4-3, Rock Cats, B6.

Kevin Whelan in to start the 7th after six decent frames from Pope. Pope’s line: 6 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 3 K.

Richie Robnett ties the game (uggh) 4-4 in the bottom of the 7th with a double to left center.

Jose Valdez in to pitch the 9th…

Valdez struck out the first two guys, but then had the audacity to issue a walk…Wilkins Arias is in the game, now. B9, 4-4.

Amauri Sanit into the game in the 10th with runners on the corners and nobody out.

Yancarlos Ortiz with a sac fly to right, giving the Rock Cats a 5-4 lead, B10. Oddly, Edwar Gonzalez made no attempt to get the runner out at the plate, instead trying for the out at third.
