Game 80: Pre-Game Notes

4:55 PM — James Cooper and Noah Hall, both on the DL, are running around the bases under the supervision of trainer Tim Lentych.

The players are also wearing special July 4th jerseys, as they did last year. A few guys will have different numbers tonight…#12 for Wilkins Arias, #26 for Wilkin de la Rosa, #51 for Eric Wordekemper, #23 for Chris Malec, #10 for Austin Krum.

The jerseys will be auctioned off during the game.

3:40 PM — The players don’t even report until like 5:30, so there’s really nothing to tell you. Glad I got here early, though.

Two off the field things of note, and yes they’re cut and pasted from the Thunder’s site…on July 7th, clean out your closet or basement and bring all that stuff you no longer wear to the ballpark for the Thunder and Salvation Army Clothing Drive.

The Salvation Army truck will be parked on the stadium approach… just drop your clothing off on your way in to the stadium.

And at the Eastern League All-Star Game…as if you needed another reason to attend the EL All-Star Game on July 15… one lucky fan at the big game will take home the collectible of a lifetime – a pair of seats from the original Yankee Stadium.
