In-Game Updates (LIVE from the ballpark): Not exactly a whole lot to write about just yet…scoreless through two.
Hmmm, I should have mentioned that Kyle Anson will be allowed to resume throwing on Saturday. Seems he’ll be back shortly after that.
McAllister is out after five innings: 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 3 K
Eric Wordekemper in for the sixth…
Trenton scored their two runs in the fifth on an RBI single by Justin Snyder and a sac fly by Austin Krum. Reading got one in the sixth after a Dominic Brown triple…Brian Stavisky grounded out to drive him in.
Chance Chapman in after six decent innings out of Yohan Flande. Flande had a no-hitter into the 5th, but ultimately end up with the line of: 6 ip, 4 h, 2 r, 2 er, 2 bb, 5 k
Matt Cusick breaks it open with a bases loaded, bases clearing double down the right field line off of Mike Zagurski. 5-1, Thunder, heading into T8.
Great stat courtesy of John Nalbone…this would be McAllister’s first win since June 5th. More than two months.
Eric Wordekemper with two and a third solid innings of relief, Wilkins Arias now in…
Another thing from pre-game I forgot to mention…Paul Bush goes back into the rotation…no one will be called up to fill the spot in the starting five. I spoke to Bush briefly, and he said he’ll be on a relatively small pitch count.

Thunder Thoughts: Some of the visiting players are walking out to such gems as “Genie In A Bottle” by Christina Aguilera and “Hit Me Baby One More Time” by Britney Spears. Good. Good for them.
Special thanks to Tuffy Gosewich for sending a foul ball up here. The hole in the wall will be a nice memento from his efforts.
Can anyone explain why the UFC wanted Phil Baroni back? The guy is a clown and is only 13-11. No need for him.
