In-Game Updates (LIVE from the ballpark): Rene Tosoni with a two-out, run scoring single up the middle in the third…New Britain leads, 1-0, T3.

Eduardo Nunez with a line drive home run to left field…ties the game, 1-1, B4.

Richie Robnett with a long home run over the video board in right…an absolute shot and one of the hardest hit homers I’ve seen here all year.  2-1, Thunder, B5.

Excellent start out of Jay Stephens…seven innings of quality work.  Grant Duff in with the season essentially on the line here in the 8th.  Still 2-1, T8.

2-2.  Brian Dinkelman ties it up with an infield single.  Amazing.  2-2, T8.

376,102 is where the Thunder end up at with attendance this year…most other teams would be happy with that, but this is the first time since 1994 they’ll end below 400,000 people.

Chris Malec with a two-run triple to the left center field gap.  Didn’t think he had that kind of speed.  It’s 4-2, B8.

Maybe the drop in attendance has to do with jacking their price of their lowest priced ticket (for adults) from $6.00 to $11.00 during a recession.
A lot of fans were upset about the price increase. I guess somebody had to subsidize the “Kids Eat Free” promotion.

Mike, I do not know if you ever addressed it on “Thunder Thoughts”.
I guess it is a little too late now……
