Betancourt, Parrish Ink Deals

Rafael Betancourt, who appeared in 62 games over three seasons for the Thunder, has signed a two year deal to re-join the Cleveland Indians.

The 32-year-old lefty was a key reliever on the 1999 team, going 6-2 with a 3.62 ERA in 39 games.

He was also flat out filthy for the Indians last season, going 5-1 with a 1.47 ERA in a career high 68 relief appearances.

Meanwhile, Dave Parrish, who spent parts of 2003 and 2004 as a backstop for the Thunder, has agreed to terms with the Rockies.

Parrish, the first round pick of the Yankees in 2000, was called up to the big leagues during his stay in the organization, but did not play in a game.  He never did play in a Major League game for the Bronx Bombers, and joined the Pirates organization a month into the 2006 season.

He split last season between Double-A Altoona and Triple-A Indianapolis, and is a career .243 hitter.
