Game 36: Pre-Game Notes

6:30 PM — Not really a lot to tell you…spoke to Justin Pope about his temporary stay as manager, I think you’ll see that in the post-game notes.  I’m also on Trentonian duty tonight, so I’ll have a Fernando Hernandez feature in the paper tomorrow, which will have comments from Hernandez and pitching coach Tommy Phelps.

I will have a live blog of Carlos Silva’s outing.  Going to get as much video as I can.  Check here and Twitter for up to the second info.

1:25 PM — It’s 1:25 PM…I mean, did you honestly think I’d have anything for you this early?  I’m back from covering the Steel…bus got in at 7:45 AM, and now I’m here.  Fun stuff.

Carlos Silva is here too…I’ll have more details on his start when I get them.  I’ve been told to expect around 80 pitches tonight.

    Anybody see the Heathcott brawl,second pitch of the game.Right after his article came out,catcher must of said something.Slade will be suspended for awhile.Kid needs anger management or he won’t be with the Yanks in the near future.We don’t need our own Milton Bradley.
