Jeter out after six innings after it starts to rain…Yadil Mujica now playing SS.

Jeter starts another double play, but this time it goes down as a 6-3 DP in your scoresheets.

Jeter with a beautiful first pitch bunt single with runners on first and second and nobody out…but he’s out at second one batter later on a Ray Kruml FC. The hit was Jeter’s 550th in the minors.

Jeter with a throwing error in the 5th…the 134th of his minor league career.

Jeter strikes out on three pitches in the second…

Jeter makes a nice play on Greg Picart in the top of the 2nd…Picart laced a ball up the middle and Jeter ranged to his left to knock it down and then recover to get the out at second.

Jeter walks in his first at-bat…he then has to run back to first assuming that Ray Kruml had lined out to shortstop, but the ball caromed off Brock Holt’s glove and Jeter had to hustle to second and eventually went to third when Holt could not pick up the ball cleanly.

Jeter starts a 6-4-3 DP to end the first inning…

Jeter will bat leadoff and play shortstop…

Thunder manager Tony Franklin would not commit to Jeter playing all nine innings tonight, saying “he’ll go as far as he can go.” He also did not rule out weather being a factor.

The start of the game might be delayed due to the rainy forecast ahead…might be in for a long one.
