Day Two…

7:50 PM — Cano needs 12 to top Adrian Gonzalez in the final round…he hit 12 in the second round, so it’s certainly possible.

5:50 PM — Quite a performance by Robinson Cano, who hit eight home runs, including an absolute bomb to right field that went 472 feet. 

4:30 PM — Robinson Cano will bat first out of the eight participants in the Home Run Derby.  His father, former big leaguer Jose Cano, will throw to him.

Figured I’d use this to post sporadic updates from the workouts and the Derby.  Here’s a photo of Tyler Clippard tossing in the outfield…
