What a disgrace the way the people at the stadium run that place and the way those fans are. My son is a baseball fan and asked me a month ago to get tickets so he could get a bobble head of derrick jeter, so I got tickets left house at 5 and arrived at 6 and as u may know no more where available, mind u I am a Philadelphia fan and proud to be. So when asking NY fans who had 3 some 4 some 5 n 6 bobble heads to sell 1 to my son they all said no no no no no, he is a big baseball fan n collects a lot of baseball memorabilia, after about 25 no A gentleman with a phillies shirt and his wife sold me one for my son and I can’t thank them enough. There r good people in the world but not NY fans, you would thing they would give out to all kids under 12 instead of fat dudes with NY shirts n c how many they can hold. Thanks again to my fellow phillies fan, u made my sons night, god bless u, n o ya the blonde lady with 5 I hope well I’ll leave it at that.

You have kids? That’s too bad.
You are a disgrace. You F’d up and as is typical of ‘people’ like you, you blame someone else.
Everyone love, love, loves a complainer.
There are good people in the world but they don’t go around pointing fingers and calling people fat.
Unfortunately that is what you’re teaching your kid.
You’re also not too bright. Why would you ask a Yankee fan for a DEREK Jeter bobble head? You’re a Phillies fan, if you had a Mycke Schmidt bobble head would you give it up?

hey anonymous…sorry to hear that happened…i am a season ticket holder and the gates are supposed to be opened at 535 for STH and 605 for regular fans…they opened the gates early so the bobbles were going fast…probably long gone by 6pm…i got there 545 and the gate i went to that usually is only on box 1 of 4-5 was already down to box 3 (i got the last one from that box even!)…i think they were trying to get people in to spend spend spend MONEY before the rain came!

anyway, i would have gladly given you mine for FREE…i usually like collecting them, but i have all sorts of bobbles at home and 1 less wouldnt have killed me, im sure…glad you did get one for your kid though.

they always have people coming with a bunch of kids on bobble night and you see dad (occasionally mom) truckin’ all of them back to the car right away. i have seen OLD MEN with 6 or 8 at a time. what exactly are these people doing with them?!

also, bobbles used to be on wednesdays. i dont understand why they were moved to fridays. because theres a bigger crowd on friday?? that is the exact reason NOT to do bobbles on friday – it will always be a big draw night. thursdays have fireworks, fridays are fridays, saturdays have fireworks and are saturdays (friday and saturday are natural draw nights!). the bobbles should go back to and shouldve stayed on wednesdays which is typically a very low draw night. having bobbles mid-week will bring the crowd for an extra night. seems like common business sense to me.

anyway, if i had happened to be one of the people you asked, id have give it to you for FREE…i usually like collecting the bobbles, but im sure i would survive with one less. but i am glad you got one and your kid was happy.
