Pettitte Part Two Isn’t Happening

Somewhat surprisingly, Andy Pettitte will not be making a second start in Trenton.  Instead, Yankees GM Brian Cashman told ESPN Radio this afternoon that the start will be made for Triple-A Empire State.  Originally slated to be played in Batavia, whose stadium holds only a little over 2,500 people, Donnie Collins is reporting that the game has been moved to Rochester…which bumps the originally scheduled Red Wings game.

Boo Hiss on the Cashman decision. Pettitte should have pitched at Trenton.

Mike, can you find out from your sources why Betances didn’t make his start for SWB? Is he healthy? Much thanks!
