O’Brien Activated; Flannery To DL

(PR) (Trenton, NJ) – The Trenton Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced Monday that RHP Mikey O’Brien has been activated from the team’s disabled list. To make room on the active roster, RHP Ryan Flannery has been placed on the disabled list with left knee bursitis, retroactive to 7/12.

O’Brien has been out since July 5 with an ingrown toenail. He is scheduled to start Trenton’s game at Binghamton Monday night at 6:35 pm. Flannery has pitched only twice in July and has not appeared in a game since July 8th.

I remember that last game with Ryan F. He gave up like a 3 run lead in the 9th. I remember especially after that he walked out of the stadium laughing like he didn’t just almost blow the game.
