Brewer Called Up, Sublett Activated

(PR) (Trenton, NJ) – The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced OF Dan Brewer has been promoted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. In a corresponding move, Trenton has activated OF Damon Sublett form the disabled list.

Brewer began the year with the SWB Yankees and made his 2010 Thunder debut in late April. In ten games this season with Trenton, Brewer batted .229 with five RBI, including drawing a game-winning walk on Thursday night at Waterfront Park. Sublett has yet to play in 2011 and began the season on the DL.

The Thunder begin a three-game series in Akron, OH on Friday night at 7:05 PM. The Thunder return home against the Reading Phillies on Monday night. Limited tickets are available by contacting the Thunder box office at 609-394-3300 or log online at trentonthunder.com.

    I am happy that Brad Suttle is doing well up there in Trenton. Tell him that we are happy he is doing well but we miss him down here in Tampa.
