[...] This is the most important thing to take away from this article. Looking at the gif above, you’ll see that Chamberlain’s mechanics are nearly the same as last year. Nothing lost, nothing gained. What’s different is in the finish, you’ll see that the pitch in 2011 has much more recoil at the end, as opposed to the 8/1 appearance where he looks like a gymnast sticking a landing. It’s clear that Chamberlain wasn’t throwing at 100% effort Wednesday afternoon, and if you think he can’t, watch his rehab in Trenton. [...]
